Published on 16 September, the 2026 edition focuses on improving clarity to help organizations of all sizes, maturity and purpose to better understand the requirements. It emphasizes the importance of quality culture and leadership and separates risk and opportunities to ensure organizations proactively take actions to pursue beneficial results. And with improved alignment to other ISO management system standards, it’s easier than ever to integrate ISO 9001 into an organization’s existing management systems, no matter their size or sector.

Sistemi di gestione per la qualità - Requisiti

La norma specifica i requisiti di un sistema di gestione per la qualità quando un’organizzazione:

a) ha l’esigenza di dimostrare la propria capacità di fornire con regolarità prodotti o servizi che soddisfano i requisiti del cliente e i requisiti legislativi e regolamentari applicabili;

b) mira ad accrescere la soddisfazione del cliente tramite l'efficace applicazione del sistema, compresi i processi per migliorare il sistema stesso e per assicurare la conformità ai requisiti del cliente e ai requisiti legislativi e regolamentari applicabili.

Tutti i requisiti della norma sono di carattere generale. La norma è applicabile a qualsiasi organizzazione, indipendentemente dal suo tipo o dimensione, o dai prodotti e servizi forniti.
